【摘要】:Thermalstabilitycharacterizesphysicalandchemicalpropertychangeswhichmayadverselyaffectanoilrsquo;lubricatingperformance.Thistestmethodevaluatesthethermalstabilityofawaylubricantinthepresenceofcopperandsteelrodsat100x00B0;C.Depositsandrodcolorsaretheevaluationcriteria.Nocorrelationofthetesttofieldservicehasbeenmade.Thistestmethodisintendedforuseinqualifyingawaylubricant,ratherthanforqualitycontrolorconditionmonitoringpurposes.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheevaluationofthethermalstabilityofhydrocarbon-basedwaylubricants,althoughoxidationmayoccurduringthetest.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
