【摘要】:1.1Thisstandardspecifiestestproceduresfordeterminingthelong-termdurabilityofanadhesivesystemsubjectedtoenvironmentalandfatigueloads.TheproceduresarebaseduponmeasurementofthecrackgrowthrateandtheresistancetocrackpropagationthroughtheadhesivelayerindoublecantileverbeamtypespecimensunderanappliedmodeIopeningcyclingloading.1.2Thetestspecimensconsistofrectangularmetalsubstratesbondedtogetherwithapre-startercrackinthebondline.Fortestingjointsconsistingofrelativelythinsheetsofmetallicsubstratesthespecimenneedstobestructurallyreinforcedbyaddinglayersofcompatiblematerialtothebackofeachadherendsubstrateinordertopreventpermanentdeformation,usuallyreferredtoasreinforceddoublecantileverbeam(RDCB)testspecimen.1.3Forbrevity,thestandardrelatestotestingRDCBspecimens,whichareessentiallymorecomplexinmanufacturingthanstandarddoublecantileverbeam(DCB)specimens.However,thestandardallowsalsoforuseofsinglesubstratedoublecantileverbeamspecimenswhenthesubstratematerialisavailableinsufficientthickness.1.4Thetestmethodhasbeenproventobeparticularlysensitiveinfindingweaknesseswithincertainadhesivesystemsandisrecommendedasascientifictooltostudyadhesionproperties.Thistestmethodmaybeusedtodetermine:-ThefatiguecrackgrowthrateasafunctionofthemodeIstrainenergyreleaserate;-Thethresholdvaluesfornegligiblecrackgrowth;-Theeffectsofotherenvironmentalfactors(temperatureand/orhumiditycycling);-ThemodeI(peelorcrackopening)failuremodeoftheadhesivejoint(cohesive,interfacial,near-surface...).
