【摘要】:Whenthevariousproducersandusersofethyleneproductdealwiththeresultsobtainedinanalyticaltesting,inconsistencyofunitsandtestmethodsmaycausemajorerrors.Thisguideprovidesanoverviewofthetypicalconcentrationsofthepossiblecomponentsfoundinethyleneproduct,themethodsusedinanalysis,andtheunitsofmeasure.Thisoverviewisintendedtobeusedtoimprovetheconsistencyofmethodsandtheunitsreportedsothaterrorsareminimized.Eachproduceranduserofethyleneproductshouldimmediatelyreviewthisguidetoimprovetheirawarenessofthevariousanalyticalmethodsinuse,theunitsofmeasure,andconcentrationlevelsofthepossiblecomponents.Althoughthisguideisnottobeusedforspecifications,itcanprovideastartingpointforthevariouspartiestodevelopmutuallyagreeduponspecificationsthatmeettheirrespectiverequirements.Itcanalsobeusedasastartingpointinfindingsuitabletestmethodsforethylenecomponents.1.1Thisguidecoversandprovidesdirectionfortheanalysisofethyleneproductinawaythatallowstheanalysttoknowthepossibletestmethods,theunitsofmeasure,andthepotentialconcentrationsrangeofpossiblecomponents,sothattheconsistencyoftheanalyticalmeasurementsisimproved.Thisguideisnotintendedtobeused,nortobeconstruedinanyway,asasetofspecificationsforethyleneproduct.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
