【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesfiretype-testingrequirementsandafiretype-testmethodforconfirmingthepressure-containingcapabilityofavalveunderpressureduringandafterthefiretest.Itisnotapplicabletothetestingrequirementsforvalveactuatorsotherthanmanuallyoperatedgearboxesorsimilarmechanismswhentheseformpartofthenormalvalveassembly.Othertypesofvalveactuators(e.g.electrical,pneumaticorhydraulic)canneedspecialprotectiontooperateintheenvironmentconsideredinthisvalvetest,andthefiretestingofsuchactuatorsisoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandard.FiretestcertificatesofvalvespreviouslytestedaccordingtopreviouseditionsofISO10497andtosimilarinternationallyrecognizedfireteststandardsarealsoacceptable.NOTEForthepurposesofthisInternationalStandard,theterms“firetype-test”and“firetest”aresynonymous.
