【摘要】:Theparticlesizedistributionofpowderedionexchangeresinsand,moreimportantly,thederivedparametersofmeanparticlesizeandpercentaboveandbelowspecifiedsizelimitsareusefulfordeterminingbatchtobatchvariationsand,insomecases,canberelatedtocertainaspectsofproductperformance.Althoughautomaticmultichannelparticlesizeanalyzers,ofthetypedescribedinSection9,yieldinformationontheentiredistributionofsizespresentinagivensample,ithasbeenfoundthat,forthisapplication,thenumericalvalueofthreederivedparametersmayadequatelydescribetheparticlesizecharacteristicsofthesamples:themeanparticlediameter(inmicrometres),thepercentofthesamplethatfallsbelowsomesizelimit,andthepercentofthesamplethatfallsabovesomesizelimit.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthedeterminationofthephysicalandchemicalpropertiesofpowderedionexchangeresinsandareintendedforuseintestingnewmaterials.Thefollowingtestmethodsareincluded:

【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfordeterminingthebulkdensityofdry,uncompactedchoppedstrandsofglassfibrewhicharecommonlyusedforthereinforcementofthermoplasticresins.Thistestmaybeusedforproductcontrolorforqualitycontrol.Thistestmethodisnotrecommendedforusewhenthechoppedglass-fibrestrandsarewet,exceedalengthof8mmordonotexhibitareasonableeaseofflowwhentransferredfromonecontainertoanother.NOTEThistestmeasuresthefree-flowingbulkdensity.Thebulkdensityofcompactedmaterialwillbedifferentthanthatmeas-uredbythistest.
